The Provincial Government are prepared to receive tenders for the metalling of a portion of the North-road. Specifications and conditions of contract may be seen on application at the office of Public Works, Christchurch. Tenders must be sent in on or before noon on - Wednesday, June 2nd, when parties tendering must be in attendance. The Government will not be bound to accept the lowest or any tender. SUMNER ROAD. The Provincial Government are prepared to receive tenders for carting 2,500 cubic yards of clay to the embankment in Sumner Valley. A specification of the work may be seen on application at the Government Offices, Christchurch.
