The ' Joseph Fletcher,' has brought no goods for Canterbury, the whole of her cargo being consigned to Auckland, Report of the ship ' Joseph Fletcher,'. John Pook, Master:—Sailed from Gravesend on the morning of the sth July, with 21 cabin and 222 steerage passengers ; left the Downs the following morning, had constant strong westerly winds down to the Isle of Wight; put into Spithead on the 11th July, to fill up water ; sailed again the 14th July; cleared Ushant on the 20th, crossed the Equator 18th of August, had a tedious passage as far as the Island of Tristan d'Acunha, which we reached on the 12th of September; here we got a fair wind which continued without any check till the 17th Octobei\ Saw very few vessels on the passage. On the 7th August a few degrees north of the line,, spoke the ship 'Kent' from Australia, bound to London full of Passengers, all .well. Had 8 deaths during the passage, and 2 births. Deaths: Adults, Mr.. Jas. Ward, E. Russ, Mrs. Lyon, and Mrs. Harnett; children, Lyon (2), Smith, and Hamilton. JOHN POOK. Master of the 'Joseph Fletcher,'

For Auckland and New Plymouth, the ' Royal Charlie,' to sail August 15th. For Nelson and Otago, the ' John Edward,' to sail August 15th. Black Ball Line ; from Liverpool: The ' Conference' for Auckland, to have prompt despatch. Willis and Co's Line.' Chapman' for Auckland and New Plymouth, August 10. ' Myrtle,' for Wellington and Nelson, August 10. ' Egmont,' for Canterbury and Otago, August 25, and 'Maori' for Nelson and Wellington, in September.

Bieth.—On October 21st, the wife of Joseph Ashby, of a son.
