NOTICE. Provincial Secretary's Office, Christchurch, 24th Nov., 1855. UTS Honor the Superintendent di--*I~L rects the publication of the following Notice. The Provincial Government are prepared to receive Tenders for leasing the block of Land reserved for fh.3 landing of diseased sheep on Adderly Head, containing 2,530 acres or thereabouts on the following terms. The Lease to be for a term of not more than three years. No sheep to be placed on the run by the Lessee ;—only cattle'or horses. In case "arty diseased sheep shall be ordered to be landed on the run, the Lessee to remove his stock therefrom immediately on receiving notice from the Inspector of Sheep that the run is required by the Government for diseased sheep. The rent for each year to be paid in ad^ vance-—to be repaid by the Government for the time the Lessee may be deprived of the occupation of the run for the above purpose. Applications to be made in writing to the Provincial Secretary, on or before the Ist of January, 1857, stating the amount of rent offered, and the term of lease required. NOTICE, Provincial Secretary's Office, Christchurch, 20lh Nov., 1855 THE Provincial Government desire to call the attention of all Parties supplying Goods or performing Work for the Government that they are requited by the Regulations io send in their Bills within One Month from the time when the payment is due, and that the Government will not undertake to pay any Bills left outstanding for a ionger period. "TVTOTICE is Hereby Giyen, that if any' -L^t Immigrants who have given Promissory Notes in part payment of assisted passages to this Province, and of which payment will he required a year after the date of their landing:, are willing to pay the whole or any part of their engagements before that time, they will be allowed a Discount as follows : — Within 3 months after landing, 10 per cent. Within 6 months after landing, 5 per cent. Payments to be made to the Provincial Treasurer, Christchurch. By His Honor's Command, Joseph Brittan, Provincial Secretary PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY giyen, that the Commissioner of Crown Lands is instructed to prepare Crown Grants for original Land orders of tbe Canterbury Association, for which Conveyances have not been already made.
