A rumor is g.uning ground on the Continent that the ml-c ofSebastop.il will in all probability be ,a,.,ed, b,.i that the allies will strengthen and keep possession of the four important points they now hold ; namely, Balaklava, Kanriesch Eupulona, and Yenikale; thai an army of
150,000 is lo be concentrated at Vaiim, to which point all disposable troops will he seni, including the cavalry regiments, which are not io winter in the Crimea. There were ut latest dates still a few caVes of cholera in the camp. A report has been spread in Egypt thai Omar Pasha had resigned and relumed i 0 Constantinople iv consequence of some misunderstanding between him'and General Pelissier of this I see nothing in the Consimiiinople papers, although tho arrival in that capital of Omar Pasha is reported.
