We are in receipt this morning of two Provincial Government Gazettes—one containing the Electoral Roll for the Province, the other a statement of Receipts and Expenditure by the Provincial Treasurer for the quarter ending 30th June, 1855, and a statement of the Receipts and Expenditure of the Land Revenue of the Province from the Ist of January of the current year to the 30th of June. The receipts of the Land Fund during the half-year, added to a balance of £1,288 !»s. 2^d. at its cora'mencement, reached a total of £6,350 13s. 71d., -while the expenditure (including £1,579 16s. lgd. paid to the General Government on account of " re-adjustment aof accounts with the Provincial Government?') amounted to £5,479 9s. 6%d., leaving a balance of £871 4s. Id. in favour of °the fund. The total receipts by the Provincial Treasurer during the quarter appear to have amounted to £2097 19s. 3d., and the expenditure to £3337 15s. 7d M including the sura of £1236 6s. sd. expended on public works, and £308 2s. 1 Id. for Immigration. The balance to the credit of the Treasurer at the end of the quarter was £10,462 19s. lOd. The receipts from Customs during the quarter amounted to £1069 9s. 4d. From the Electoral Roll we learn there are 1133 registered votes for the Province; of these 590 are registered for the district of Christchurch, 216 for the town of Christchurch, 197 for the town of Lyttelton, and 130 for the Akaroa district. Last year 681 votes only were claimed throughout the Province, so that the roll for this year gives an increase of 452 over the preceding one.
