Lyttejvtox Colonists' Society.—Tuesday, August 21st, Dr. Donald, President, in the Chair: the uiiuuies of last meeting were read and con finned. Mr. Spoweks, v.p., then delivered a if cture on " Campbell and his Poetry." The lecturer gave an interesting sketch of the Poet's life and career, and read extracts from his works, in which his manly and vigorous style was well illustrated. The lecturer was frequently applauded during the evening and at the conclusion.
