The Land is well adapted for agricultural, gardening, or building purposes, being situate about a mile from the town, fronting the road now in progress from Lyttelton to the Plains, and commands an uninterrupted view of the Harbour of Port Victoria. Is easy oi' access, has gentle and gradual incline from its base to the summit, and presents an eligible opportunity to persons desirous of possessing one or more acres of valuable Freehold Land on advantageous terms so convenient to the port town of Lyttelton. ■:■• ' " ;■ Further particulars may be had on application at'the office of Mr. Wormald, Solicitor, London street, Lyttelton. Christchurch Quay New Town. Set out in quarter-acre, and other sections for Building purposes. fTIHE situation of this town upon the main -*- road from Port Lyttelton and Sumner to Christcburch, and on the north bank of the river Heathcote, which is navigable up to this point for all vessels that can enter the Estuary, presents most important advantages to persons connected with the trade and shipping business of the plains, for establishing watemde premises, wholesale stores and warehouses. This being the head of the navigation, a plot of ground has been reserved for a steam basin, when the circumstances of the Colony shall justify its formation ; and the importance of the place, from which the greater part of the produce of the plains will necessarily be shipped, and its imports discharged, renders it one of peculiar advantage for permanent investment, as a locality in which property will inevitably most rapidly increase in value. The erection of a Church upon the spot is already in progress, aud provision is made for the site of a school. Plans of the town may be seen at the office of t Mr. Cridland, architect, Christcburch, at the landing wharf, Christchurch Quay, and at the office of Mr. Dampier, solicitor, London street, Lyttelton, of whom respectively full information may be obtained. An early day will be fixed for submitting a portion of the sections to public competition and upon terms to suit the convenience of purchasers. Lease to be Sold.
