THE Provikciax Government are . prepared to receive tenders for a contract to supply about Sixty Thousand feet of Sawn Timber for the building of the Provincial Couucil Chamber and Government Offices. Particulars of the Contract amd invoices of the hoards and scantling required will be ready for inspection at the office of Public Works in Christchurch, and at the Resident Magistrate's Office, Lyttelton, on and after Wednesday, the 14th inst. ;. The Timber must be delivered on the ground. The Tenders must be sent into this office on or before Wednesday, the 28th" inst., The Government "will not bind itself to accept thelowest or any tender.
