" This glorious intelligence is confirmed by way of Paris, " A private telegraphic despatch states that at the end of the second battle gained by the allies, they bombarded Fort Coustantine, the Citadel, and the Fleet, all of which surrendered. " The Russians hare lost 18,000 in killed and wounded, and 22,000 prisoners. Sis ships of the line, and Fort Constauliue have been destroyed." Late yesterday evening it was currently reported in Vienna, that GortschaVoff, the Russian ambassador there, had received later advices, containin? intelligence of the complete surrender of Menschikoff.
