Young & Co., beg to submit the following Circular letter to the Canterbury public for their information. Neiv Zealand Colonists' Rooms, 9, Adelphi Terrace, London, 1853. In reference to the New Zealand business hitherto carried on at the Colonists' Booms here by me, in exclusive connection with Messrs. Money Wigrara .and Sons, T beg to inform you that I have made arrangements with Messrs. Frederick Young & Co., of 74, Cornhill, for the purpose of keeping up a regular line of communication between this country and the various ports in New Zealand. ' According to the terms of this arrangement, I have transferred to them all my interest and connection with these Rooms, and agreed that in future they shall be conducted by Mr. Horace Young, who will represent Messrs. Frederick Young & Co, in this branch of their establishment. I have only to add an expression of my hope that the confidence with which you have always treated me in your communications, upon all subjects relating to the Colonies, may be fully extended to Messrs. Frederick Young & Co., whom you will find always ready, and in my estimation very competent, to afford you any,, information you may require upon colonial" matters. The^ vessels carry surgeons—are commanded by Captains of great experience in the passenger trade—and the most careful provision is made for the comfort of the passengers during the voyage. The following fine vessels have already been despatched: Mahtoree ...350 Capt. R. Cowan. Eagle 400 Capt. H. G. Looke. The greatest attention will be paid to the punctual despatch of vessels chartered by the above well-known firms; and as it is highly desirous that a continuous emigration to this Settlement be encouraged, the undersigned will be prepared to facilitate the views of those parties who may be disposed to send to England for their friends.
