Provincial Secretary"s Office, Christehurch, N0v.4,i554. fpHE Provincial Government are prepared to receive tenders for a contract to erect a building, containing the Provincial Council Chamber, and the offices of the Provincial Government. The amount of accommodation required and the .particulars may be obtained by enquiring at the office of the Provincial Secretary, The Tenders must contain designs, plans, and specifications of the work. The contractor is not limited to any particular material. The Government reserves to itself the right to appoint a Stuveyor of the'works,-to.-whose.satis? faction the contract will have to be completed. The Government do not bind themselves to accept the lowest tender. The Tenders must be sent in to the office of the Provincial Secretary, on or before the 30th November next, at 4 o'clock p.m. By order of His Honor the Superintendent, H. G.
