Also, 20 Heifers in calf, now depasturing on the north side of the Waimakariri. Also, 500 superior Ewes in lamb, bred in the colony, to he delivered after shearing. Also, a Cattle Run, consisting of 5,000 acres, with or without 20 or 30 head of Cattle; the situation is good, there is the framework of a house erected, and it possesses the advantage of being well timbered.
