Deaths.--At Papanui, September 16th, the wife of Mr. Stokes, Sawyer, in child birth, leaving a large family to deplore her loss. September 19th, at Kaiapoi, C. Rudston Reid, Esq., late Crown Land Commissioner, Victoria, aged 36. September 20th, on board the Norman Morrison, C. F. S. Maundrell, Esq., commander of the above barque.
