ON Monday evening next, at 7 o'clock precisely, Mr. H. J. Porter will resume his lecture, giving an account of his tour through the mining districts of Sweden. On the same evening at half-past six precisely, an ordinary meeting will be held for the purpose of discussing a proposed new rule respecting membership. DRAWING CLASS. THE General Government having granted a portion of Town Land as a Building Site for the Free Church of Scotland, a Public Meeting of the subscribers will be held at the Royal Hotel, at 7 o'clock, on Monday evening next, the 25th inst., for thepurpose of electing three or more Trustees in whom such property can be legally vested. On this occasion the ' privilege of.voting by proxy will be extended to those who cannot conveniently attend. Other business of an interesting character will be brought before the meeting.
