Steam Communication between Sydney and Auckland.— The Iron Screw Steam-ship " William Denny," 600 tons, 200 horse power, Robert JViailler, Commander, has entered into contract with the Provincial Government to carry the mails between Sydney and Auckland. This steamer will during the next twelve months, make a trip to and from Sydney and Auckland once in each month ; leaving Sydney within six hours after the monthly English mail has been put on board (not being later than the 20th), and returning from Auckland to Sydney, about the beginning '^ the following month.
