CHRISTCHURCH CATTLE SHOW. Proposed to be held in the Market-place, Christchurchj on Thursday, Oct. 19,1854. Under the direction of the Christchurch Agricultural and Horticultural Society. rpHE following Prize's will be offered, sub- ■*- ject to the following conditions : Ist. There shall be three competitors for each prize, or no prize will be awarded; 2nd. The entrance fee for horses, cattle, and sheep, shall be £1 for each description of Stock exhibited, and for pigs 10s. [Donors of-£2'and. upwards to pay only half these fees.] The following will be the prizes offered, there being two prizes, Ist and 2nd, for each description of Stock. Prizes will also be offered for the best descriptions of Poultry exhibited. Particulars will be given in future advertisements. Parties intending to exhibit are requested to give to the Hon. Secretaries 14 days' notice previous to the day of Show of the Stock which they propose to exhibit. The Committee being desirous of ensuring as large a Show as possible, invite the eshibi-
