The vessels carry surgeons —are commanded by Captains of great experience in the passenger trade—and the most careful provision is made for the comfort of the passengers during the voyage. The" following fine vessels have already been despatched: TONS. Mahtoree • .......350 Capt. It. Cowan. Eagle 400 Capt. H. G. Looke. The greatest attention will be paid to the punctual despatch of vessels chartered by the above well-known firms; and as it is highly ,desirous that a continuous emigration to this "Settlement be encouraged, the undersigned will be prepared to facilitate the views of those parj ties who may be disposed to send to England for their friends. The " Eagle," on arrival, will be laid on to ship wool for London, and the undersigned will make liberal advances on wool, and other New Zealand produce, consigned to the above gentlemen. A. J. SEVERAL Unqualified Persons having lately taken upon themselves the preparation of Conveyances, Leases, Deeds of Sale, and other documents, contrary to the Ordinance in that behalf provided and intended for the protection of the public against the mischievous consequences of imperfect documents and titles prepared by other than duly qualified poisons by the impositition of a " penalty of £50 for every such offence, to be recovered by action in the Supreme Court hy any one who shall sue for the same." The public, and the above individuals in particular, are hereby cautioned against such offences, and requested to take notice that the penalties will most, undoubtedly be strictly enforced if the practice be repeated by them, 1
