NOTICE. rp H E Commissioner of Crown Lands -*- having advertised the Town Reserves at Christchurch for Sale by Public Auction on-the 13th of May next, I hereby give Notice that such Town Reserves have been duly appropriated by the Canterbury Association, and are legally vested in that body for the miscellaneous purposes specified in. their charter. The Commissioner of Crown^ Lands has no authority to sell the same. No sale by him of such lands will be valid ; and proceedings will be taken at law against all trespassers.
