NOTICE TO CORRESPONDENTS
We are compelled, from want of space, to defer the continuation of the Report of the sittings of the Provincial Council.
We shall, at all times, he happy lo receive communications on matters of local and general interest. We do not, however, undertake to hold ourselves responsible for the sentiments and opinions of those who may favour us with their communications.
Errata.—ln the circular of the Commissioner of Crown Lands (published in the Lyttelton Times on the 15th inst.) for "a Licensee must place 1000 head of property marked fyc." read "properly ;" and for " I would venture to recommend that the General Assembly should go further, and allow a purchase of any extent of land not less than 1,000 acres, under these regulations, with the power of paying for them in seven yearly instalments;" read, "allow a purchaser of any extent of land not less than 1,000 acres, under these regulations, the power, &c."
