Chkistchurch Market, Juxr 16th, 1853. —There is still a brisk demand for all kinds of Grain and Agricultural produce, especially for prime samples of seed Wheat, Barley, and: Oats. The quotations of last week were maintained. Wheat, 12s. to 15s. ; Barley, Bs. to 10s. } Oats, 9s'.- to 12s. a bushel. A considerable quantity of Oats changed hands at 9s. 6d. Potatoes are advancing in price in consequence of holders, reserving their stock for planting.Butter and Cheese are in steady demand at former quotations. Poultry and Eggs are scarce, aud' an advance-in price is the consequence. Fowls, ss. to 7s. a couple. Eggs, 2s'. to 2s. 6d. a dozen. »-• • - • ■ • - '■" Sydney Markets, June 4th.—Fine flour, £23; seconds, £21 per ton ; wheat, Bs. to 9s. per bushel. Large importations of American flour had taken place, and tended to depress the' market. Oats,* 16s»; Potatoes -"lis.- to 12s. per cwt.
