Chkisichttkch Market, June 4th.— To-day being the first monthly Cattle Market, there was a very good attendance. A number of steers, ex " Hashemy," from 9 to 18 months old, realized £8 and £9 each ; cows and heifers fetched high prices ; some pure bred pigs (Fisher Hobbs's breed) were offered for sale, but bought in at £8 each; store pigs sold at £2 and £3 each; sucklings, 15s. to 2 Is. each. Some, very good horses were in the market, for which high prices were asked. In the grain market good samples of wheat were sold at 15s. a bushel, and the price generally may be quoted at from 12s. to 155.; oats, Bs. a bushel; barley, Bs. do.; potatoes, £6 to £8 a ton ; carrots,'£4 to £5 do.; butter, Is. 6d. to Is. Bd. per lb.; ducks, Bsi to 10s. a couple; fowls, 4s. to 6s. do.; eggs, 2s. 6d. to 3s, a dozen. Wheat straw, 30s. to £2 a ton.
