April 7, brigantine Despatch, 139 tons, Rogers, for Otago, with part of original car«- 0 iroin Sydney. Passengers, Messrs. Fulton, Doran, and 3 natives. IMPORTS. In the Hashemi/,— 1,387 sheep, 120 head of cattle, 3 horses, and 1 bull, Order. The barque » William Hyde," 532 tons, Captain Applethwaite, sailed from Newcastle for this Port on the 26th February with 125 head of Cattle, 35 Horses, and 7] 2 Sheep. Passengers, Mrs. Applethwaite and 2 children, Messrs Halstead, Tnnder, and Singleton. The " William Hyde" is considerably overdue, the " Hasbemy' having sailed 3 weeks later, and arrived here 6 clays since.
The " Cashmere " sailed from Gravesend for New Zealand on the Bth November. . The " Sir Edward Paget," 481 tons, Captain Barclay, was advertised to sail for Canterbury on the 25th November, and the "Mahomed Shah," 615 tons, for Nelson on the sth December. The " Samarang," from New Zealand October 15th, arrived at Hong Kong December the sth.
