The boats will discharge at the Heathcote Ferry Wharf, and the goods will be carted without any delay to Christchurch, and delivered to their respective owners, at the fixed charge above-mentioned. By this arrangement, parties receiving goods will be able to calculate tbe exact amount o expenses incurred, and will be answerable to tbe Agent only for such, and free from the annoyance of being called upon by several parties for various charges. The boats which are intended to carry out these arrangements comprise the largest and most seaworthy at present engaged in the carrying trade, and.will consist of the Paliniirus, Capt. Greaves.
