The address of the honourable Gentleman, who is a Candidate for the suffrages of the Electors of the Christchurch District, in the prospective General Council of New Zealand, arrived too late for insertion this wee7c. In future, all communications to the Editor of the Lyttelton Times must be left at the office before Wednesday Evening, in order that they may be inserted in the paper of the following Saturday. No communication will receive any attention unless accompanied by the name and address of the Author, not necessarily for publication, but as evidence of his good faith.
