ARRIVED. September 27, schooner Mary, 40 tons, Taylor, from Nelson. CLEARED OUT. October 1, ship Persia, 669 tons, Broadfoot, for Otago. IMPORTS. In the Mary, —7 tons flour, 18 casks beer, Order; 2 tons flour, 11 boxes and 8 casks oranges, lemons, Alport; 2 tons flour, Cookson, Bowler, & Co.; 2 tons do., Howard. The schooner Scotia, (59 tons, Davis, from Wellington, came into harbour on Saturday last, and sailed the following day for Otago. The Sydney Morning Herald publishes a very fluttering address to Captain Sproul of the " Fatima," from the Chief Justice of New South Wales and many other passengers, who express " their high sense of his ability as a seaman,
■witnessed by them throughout a most tempestuous passage, on occasions of great and imminent peril, from Moreton Bay to Sydney; and cordially thank him for the undeviating courtesy, attention, and liberality, which he has exhibited towards them."

Latjnceston Market, Aug. 21.—Wheat reinaiiis at 9s. ; first flour, £24 ; oats, 6s. 6d. ; barley', ss. •, potatoes, £4 10s. per ton ; beef, 6d. to Bd.; mutton, 6d. to7d.; fresh butter, 2s. 2d.; salt do.,' 25.; eggs, 2s. per dozen ; colonial cheese, Is. 6d. per lb.
Hobart Town, Aug. 20. —Wheat ranges at from 9s. 2d. to 9s. 6d. per bushel; first flour £25 per lon. ,
Sydney, Sept. 3. —Flour remains at last quotations, viz., £23 per ton, fine, and £21 seconds, with a steady demand. Wheat, best samples, range about Bs. 6d. per bush.
