Business for Wednesday Evening, September 23, 1852. 1. To receive the report of the Library Committee on the best method of cataloguing1 Books. 2. To receive Mr. Alport's report on the proceedings of the Fire Committee. 3. Mr. Reader's proposition—to add the following to the Library Rules :—"That the members of the Christchurch Reading Rooms be admitted to the Library of the Lyttelton Colonists' Society as honorary members, on conforming to the Library Rules." 4. Mr. Godley's second Lecture on the early colonization of New Zealand.
