NOTICES TO CORRESPONDENTS.

We should feel greatly obliged if our Correspondents would take the trouble of writing intelligibly : had they the smallest idea of the great loss of time incurred in deciphering;, and putting into type, and correcting badly written communications, they would, ive are persuaded, impose on themselves a uttle extra labour, and save us a great deal.

In future, all communications to the editor of the Lyttelton Times must be left at the office before Wednesday Evening, in order that they may be inserted in the paper of the following Saturday. No communication will receive any attention unless accompanied by the name and address of the author, not necessarily for publication, but as evidence of his good faith.
