rpHE COMMITTEE for the Lyttelton ■-*- Begatta have to thank Mr. Harman for his very liberal contribution to the Eegatta Fund, in the shape of a letter in the Lyttelton Times of the 29th May, 1852. npHE Chttech: Bxtiiding Commiixee, -*- in publishing, the following statement of the accounts connected with the New Church at Lyttelton, beg especially to call the attention of the public to the fact, that a deficiency in the funds required to meet the engagements which the Committee have contracted exists to the amount of above £300. It will be seen that the cost of erecting the Church itself has but slightly exceeded tlie amount of the funds upon which the Committee could reckon, namely, ; £1,000, but various incidental expences became necessary in the course of the work, which have increased the expenditure beyond what was anticipated. The Committee therefore are compelled to request the assistance of their fellowcolonists to enable them to meet the engagements which will become due on the completion of,the-building. Whoever will bring the same to Jackson and Bentley's Livery Stables, Christchurch, will receive the above reward. NOTICE TO PIG-HUNTERS.
