GRAYLING, on the necessity of CHEMISTRY AND GEOLOGY, Being brought to bear in order to Develope the Resources of any New Country. The Lecture will be divided into Three Pavts. The first will comprise a sketch of the Introductory Knowledge required by an Investigator. Secondly. A description of the Metallurgical value of the different rocks. Thirdly. The means of proving this value by chemical tests. The Lecture will be illustrated by a series of appropriate experiments, and will take place in the large room of the Mitre Hotel, on Monday Evening, May 3, at seven o'clock precisely. Admission One Shilling each.
