In future, all communications to the editor of the Lyttelton Times must be left at the office befu%%'' noon on Thursday, in order that they may be iiiL serted in the paper of the following Saturday. No communication will receive any attention unless accompanied by the name and address of the author, not necessarily for publication, but as evidence of his good faith. For the convenience of persons living at, or in the neighbourhood of Christchurch, a special messenger will leave Mr. Bishop's Store, in the Market-place every Thursday morning at eight o'clock ; and all communications left at Mr. Bishop's before that time will be forwarded.
