WHEREAS a Lunatic named Moore, has recently escaped from confinement at Lyttelton,*and is supposed to have proceeded to the Plains; it is requested that any person having knowledge of his present locality will give immediate notice to the Police, who have instructions to take ehirge of him. Description of William Moore: height, about 5 ft. 9 in., age, about 47, very bald on head, short, dark grey whiskers, dressed in watertight boots, corduroy trousers, coloured cotton shirt, blue guernsey shirt, waistcoat, blue woollen cap.
