WE, the Undersigned Cabin Passengers of the Ship *' Canterbury," desiring to express to you our high opinion of the skill and persevering activity you have shown in the disdianre of your duties on our voyage from London to the Canterbury Settlement, beg to oifer you our sincere thanks for your unvarying kindness, and for the attention you have shewn to tiie comfort and enjoyment of all on board, during a period of four months, and we trust you wiil do us the favour to accept the accompanying token as an earnest of our unanimous and unfeigned approbation and esteem.
