NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on Tuesday, the 7th of October next, a Public Auction will be held in Lyttelton for the sale of Town Lands in Christchurch>nd Lyttelton. : . • > Parties desirous of purchasing any particular section, may have the same included in the list of those for sale, by making application in writing to that effect, at the offices of the Association, either at Lyttelton or Christchurch, on or before the 23rd of September next. To give effect to such application it will be necessary to deposit the upset price of each section, viz. 24Z., for the half acre section in the capital, and 121. the quarter acre section in the Port Town, at Ihe Union Bank, Lyttelton, to the credit of the Canterbury Association, on or before the same day. NOTICE WHEREAS Thomas Hoenbt Evans, of Christchurch, in the Canterbury Settlement, New Zealand, hath by a certain indenture or deed of assignment, bearing date the Third Day of July, 1851, assigned over all his personal estates and effects unto Richard Pollard of Christchurch, aforesaid, Esquire, and George Compton, of Lyttelton, in the said Settlement, Innkeeper, for the equal benefit of such of his creditors as shall come in and execute such assignment within two months from the date thereof, Notice is hereby given that the said indenture or deed of assignment, now lies at the Mitre Hotel, Lyttelton, for the inspection and execution of such of the creditors of the said Thomas Hornsby Evans, who shall come in and execute the same within the time aforesaid, and all such creditors who shall neglect or refuse to execute the said assignment within the time aforesaid, will be excluded from all benefit that may arise therefrom. "TVTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that -*-^ the Partnership hitherto subsisting between Us, the Undersigned, Michael Brannan Hart, and Henry AUwright, both of Lyttelton, in the Canterbury Settlement, New Zealand, carrying on business together as Plumbers, Glaziers, and Painters, under the style or firm of" Hart and Ali/wright," was this Day dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to and owing by the late Firm, will be received and paid by the said Henry Allwright, by whom the business will in future be carried on. Witness our hands this 22nd Day of July, 1851.
