Launceston Markets.—For the information of our country readers we may state that after our • paper went to press on Saturday, sales of 150 tons of flour were concluded, at an average price of j£2l per ton. Extensive transactions in wheat also took place at. 9s. 3d. to 9s. Od. The latter figure may be considered the nominal quotation for wheat this morning.— Examiner, 9th June. Adelaide Markets, May 22.—Wheat, 7s. to 7s. Gd. per bushel; flour, from £18 10s. to sgl9 per ton; oats, 7s. ; bran, Is. Sd.; pollard, Is. lOd.; barley, Bs. per bushel. About 2000 sheep were sold on Wednesday, at from Bs. to'los. Gd. ; there were also about GOO or 700 of an inferior description. The stock of cattle for slaughter was still very limited, 36 head only were brought in, which sold at 14s. per 100 lbs. Cape Markets, April 3—Flour, American, 355. per barrel; Adelaide ditto, 18s. and 20s. per 100 lbs; Cape wheat, £1 2s, fid. to £1 4s. per muid of three bushels.
