We have received a letter, unfortunately too late for insertion, signed" A Canterbury Settler," on the very urgent subject of the Scab in Sheep, which at present threatens this colony. It shall appear in our next. All communications for insertion in the paper of the same week, must be left at this office before 12 o'clock on Thursday morning. '£-! No communication will receive any attention unless '* accompanied by the name and address of the author, not necessarily for publication, but as evidence of his good faith.
