PUBLIC NOTICE. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on and after Monday, the 16th of June next, the Rural Land in the Canterbury Settlement will be open for sale to a limited extent, in blocks of not less than Fifty acres. Information with respect to terms of purchase may be obtained on application at the Land Office, Christchurch. By order of the Agent of the Canterbury Association, W. G. Britxan. "VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on -L t Wednesday, the 2nd of July next, a Public Auction will be held in Lyttelton for the sale of TOWN LAND in Christchurch and Lyttelton. Parties desirous of purchasing any particular section may have the same included in the List for Sale, by making application in writing to that effect at the offices of the Association, either at Lyttelton or Christchurch, on or before the 17th June next. To give effect to such application it will be necessary to deposit the upset price of each Section, viz., £24. for the halfacre Section in the Capital, and £12. the quar-ter-acre Section in the Port Town, at the Union Bank, Lyttelton, to the credit of the Canterbury Association, on or before the same day. Parties will be allowed to remove the materials of any buildings which they may have erected on such land, or should they prefer it, the Association will take them from them at a valuation.
