TtTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that -*-^ the Prosecution of all parties found cutting Timber or Underwood on any of the Ir.nds within the Canterbury Settlement (including Banks' Peninsula) without License granted from the Agent of the Association, will from this date be strictly enforced, the particular circumstances that led to a temporary relaxation of the law in favour of the first body j of settlers having ceased to exist. The terms on which Timber-cutting Licenses will in future be granted may be learned on application at the Land Office, Christchurch. By order of the Agent of the Canterbury Association, W. G.
