The services at |lie Salvation Army Hall on Sunday were of a. very special character, it being Mother's Day. Captain Mahuflie. from Wellington, conducted those services, assisted hy Captains Stanton and Ailott, and Mr Graham. An extra afternoon service was well attended and the- presenting of a white flower, with card attached, to their mothers hy the children and others who desired so to-do, was very impressive- and effective. Herns appropriate to the occasion, were also given Ivy the children and young people, while the tries hy the visiting officers in the various meetings were well rendered. Elotjuent tributes to Hie value of “.Mother” were made in the two- addresses delivered by Capf.
