Statement of Affairs. The affairs of the parent company' tbe Kawarau.Gold Mining Company, aa at Slat December, are contained in a recent issue of tbe Gazette, and will interest olaimholders. Tbe nominal capital ia £15,000 the amount of capital subscribed £14,984 S«, amount actually paid up in cash £4984 18s; paid upvalue ol eorip given to shareholders and amount of cash received for same, £4984 18s, £14,859 4s. Paidup value of scrip given to shareholders on which no cash bas been paid, £9,999 10s. Tbe capital Is divided into 800,000 shares ol one shilling. Ol these 290,688 are allotted. Tbe amount paid up per share is ; 8s on 96,183 shares, 2s 0d on 2000 shares, 2s 5d on 1100 shares, and Is on 10 shares. At time ol registration there were seven share holders and the pre.
ent member is 1087, The number of men employed by the company is 28.
