DUNEDIN WOOL SALE.
An Increase In Prleaa.
The third wool sale of the Dunedin seites was commenced on Monday eveuog and concluded on Tuesday afternoon The demand from the outset was keen and bidding was particularly brisk. Continental buyers were very active, the demand for halfbreds, fine crossbreds and fine pieces being exceptionally strong. Compared with the last sale, values were fully maintained, and taking into consideration the factors of quality and condition, it can be said that prices in all grades were considerably firmer. The top price of the sale was 25d, that figure being realised for nine bales of hallbred wether wool sold on account of Mr 0 W. Mitchell (Outram).
