Pricea for wethers were easier by 3s per head, and ewea 4s per head, on late ruling rates. Extra prims wethers to 47s 6d, prime 40a to 435, medium 35s to 38s 6d, light from 37s upwards, extra prime ewe 3 to 39a, prime 30a to 32a 6d, medium from 28s upwards Lambs There was a medium yarding, 1026 being penned, oonsieting o! fair quality. Prices were easier, ffost qualtty lambß 31b to 32s 9i', medium 24s to 28s Pit. s— There was a large yarding of fat and prices were easier by fully 53 per head on late ruling rates Aides -We held a hide sale to-day, and offered a large catalologue to a full attendance nf buyers. Competition was keen, md prioes were firm on late ruling rates, more especially for good quality hides, whioh were in keen demand. Oats—The market is quiet, and there is very little demand for shipment, the only enquiry being for heavy samples suitable for milling purposes. Fowl wheat is dull of sale, and is nominally worth about 4* per bushel ex truok Dunedin Potatoes Consignments have been coming to haud freely from the North, and the market Is a shade easier. There la, however, a good enquiry for prime tablea at quotations Prime tables £7 15s to £B, medium to good £7 53 to £7 10s per ton (sdcks in) Chaff— Owing to the wet weather, consignments have eased off during the week, and there is a good enquiry for prime oaten sheaf nt quotations.
