Notice is hereby given that the Municipal Council of the Borough of Arrowtown, at its meeting held at the Borough Council Chambers, Buckingham street, Arrowtown, ort Tuesday evening, 27th May, 1919, at S o’clock, made and levied, under sections 78 to 80, both inclusive, of “The Rating Act, 1908,” General Rate of One shilling and Sixpeuce(l/6) in the £ for the financial year ending on the 31st day of i March, 1920, upon the rateable value of all I rateable properties within the Borough of Arrowtown, as appearing on the Borough Valuation Roll in force for the time being, and payable in one sum on the Ist September And, further, notice is hereby given that the said Council intends at its said meeting levied, under section 80 of “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908.” for the year commencing on the Ist day of April, 1919, and ending on the olst day of March, 1920, in lieu of a rate of I/O in the £ a uniform annual fee of seven shillings in respect of such ot the rateable properties of the said Borough as have a house or houses erected thereon, and such uniform annual fee to bo paid at the said Council Chambers(half-yearly) in advance on the Ist dayof July, 1919, and on the Ist day of January, 1920.
