Beßt bullocks £l9 to £2l; extra to £25 5i ; medium £l6 to £18; best cows and heifers £l4 to £l6; extra to £l7 103; medium to good £l2 to £l4 ; others £9 10s up. Fat Sheep.—363s penned. Values of prima sheep were fully up to last week's rated. butoherß and exporters operating freely. Medium quality if anything was also a little firmer. Quotations: Beat wetber3 46s to 50s, extra to 635, medium to good 34s to 375, best ewes 38s to 435, extra to 50s 6d, medium to good 33s to 365, others 24s up. Lambs—l7oo penned. Prices were fully up to last weok's rates Pigs—A small yarding of fats came to hand, and these sold at prices slightly in advance of last week's rates Stronach, Morris, & Co. Ltd. report for week ended Tuesday, 28th May, as follows : Rabbitskins:—Our next Sale will be held on Monday, 4th June. Sheepskius— The Government are holding a valuation this week. Oate—Lines of bright htavy oats meet with a ready sale on arrival. Extra prime lines suitable for seed are in strong demand. Quotations : Prime miiliug 4s 4d to 4's* sd, good to best feed 4s 2d to 4s 4d per bushel (sucks extra). Wheat. —All lines of milling quality are eagerly sought after by buyers at Government prices. Fowl wheat is in short supply, and has a very keen enquiry. Potatoes—Consignments have been arriving from Canterbury and the Northern districts of late, and the market is fully supplied. Only best quality, however, is in demand, medium ana inferior lines being hard of sale. Choice tables £9 to £9 ss, medium to good _7 10b to £8 per ton (sacks in). Chaff—L*rge consignments continue to come to hand, and the market is over-sup-plied, The demand, which is purely local owing to the lack of freight, Is confined to consignments of bright heavy chaff, medium and inferior Unas being very hard to quit. Best oaten iheat £6 7s 6d to £6 12s (id, medium to good £6 to £6 ss, other qualities £4 per ton up (sacks extra).
