FOOTBALL.

The Cup match. Arrow v. Queenstown’ was played on the Arrow ground yesterday and resulted in an easy win for Queenstown by 17 points to nil. For the first quarter of an hour Arrow held the advantage, thereafter Queenstown had matters practically their own way and scored frequently. Without doubt the better team won on the day’s play. Tries for the visitors were scored by Edgar (2, one converted). Canning and Sutherland, while McDowall kicked a penalty goal. Both teams are now equal in scores for the Cup, and the final will be played in Arrowtown on jWednesday. * Mr W. G. Blackie gave every satisfaction as referee.
