New potatoes: Good reception for large sort;—2d to 31 per lb. Wo can quote good second - band sicks, suitable for potatoes, grain, or chaff, at 5/0 per dozen; 1001b centals 3/- per dozen. Chaff.—The market well supplied. Prime black oat up to £1 1 5s. Fowl Wheat.—Firm, Up to 3s per bushel. Oats.—Market stationery. Extra heavy bright feed up to l/l 1, Duns 2s, sparrowbills Is lOd, blacks Is It'd.^-Eggs.—lo-1 ; guaranteed stamped lid. Butter—We quote-Storekeeper’s pat 3 IOJd per lb; separator pounds 10d, half pounds lljd; local factory, sGlb boxes Is o£d, 28lb boxes Is o£l, 14lb boxes ls(J;/d, eases Is extra; print butter, 501b in case, Is 0.5 d ; bulk butter—we have numerous enquiries for farmers or storekeepers’ balk in oolb boxes -9d to lOd per lb. Honey—Fair demand. Prime clover to3£d lb; 51b tins Is 8d to Is 9d; 10lb tins 3s 3d to 3s 6d. Bacon—Fair demand. Prime smoked rolls 7d to 7£d; hams, 18lb to 221b weight, Bid per lb ; sides 7d. Pigs—Bacon weights up to 100’s 4d to 4sd, porkers up to 4}d. Cheese—We have some excellent lines of well matured Akaroa factory ojd, old loaf, 24 months matured sjd per lb. Onions. —Victorian £7 10s per ton-very prime quality, advise buying. Fruit.—The market has bsen well supplied this week. Vegetables are very scarce, and the bulk of supplies are arriving weekly from Victoria. Cauliflowers—Extra large whiteheads 4/- to 6/- per sack ; cabbages 3s 9d to 5s per sack. Vegetable marrows 7s per sack. Pumpkins 4/G to 5s 6d per sack. Oranges.-Tahiti (9-inch cases! to 16s repacks, Sydney’s 7s 9d to Bs. Mildura 8s 6d per case. Marmalade oranges Poorman’s 4s Gd, Sevilles 4s Gd. Mildura lemons, 7s Gd per case. Apples—Choice large green cookers 2d lb; dessert local 8/• per 381b case ; Hobart sturraers 7/0, scarlets 9/-. finest quality 421b per Pines—Ordinary roughs 9s ; Queens, 10s double oases. Bananas. Scarce. Ripe per Jb, Citron melons for jam, 7s per cwt. Dates.—Bulk 17s per cwt; lb cartons 3s 3d per dozen. Walnuts —New season’s Gd to 7d. Kop’s Non-aleholic Ale—Split bottles Is Gd dozen, pints 2s Gd, quarts 4s, in case lots. Poultry.—Consignments have been plentiful. We quote cock turkeys 8d to B£d, hens GAd to 7d per lb; ducks, plump condition, 3/9 to 4/G, roosters (young) 4/6 to 5/-, poor quality 3/- to 3/6, hens 3/- to 3/G per pair.
