Two ex-Cromwell young men, Messrs 11. Oi r and C. Ti/.ard, returned to Cromwell on Saturday night after a throe years sojourn in the dredging holds of South America and West Africa.
The Minos Department is inviting applications for the position of Inspector of Minos for the Otago Mining District. The salary is .£3OO per annum, and [applicants, who must not be over forty years of ago, must bo the holders of first-class certificates.
