ARROW BRASS BAND.
A meeting of above body -was held in the Piikss Office on Tuesday evening last. There was a very large attendance. The secretary reported that he had received three applications for the position of conductor. —After consideration the Com-
mittee appointed Mr Hume, of Geraldihe. conductor of the band. Mr Hume to te|e up his duties immediately. The following office-bearers were electedfv President, Mr Joseph Reid; vice-jftesidant# Dr Thomson, and Messrs Ferrelle, Goodley, Jopp, Baird, Kelly, Polaschek, R. J. Cotter and R. M. Paterson; secretary and treasurer. Mr A. E. Smiley. General Committee: Messrs Kelly, Jopp, % * Polaschek, Graliam, Griffiths, Duffey, and W. J. Campbell. Five to form a quorum. * The General Committee to take charge of instruments in lien of Mr Kelly, subject to Council’s approval. An account of 13/6 was passed for pay- 5 ment. It was decided that the entrance fee be 5/- and a weekly subscription of 1/-. This concluded the. business.
