WEDDING BELLS.

A pleasing and popular wedding ceremony was performed at Crown Terrace yesterday. The happy young couple were Mr Joseph Miller, fourth son of Mr Joseph Miller, Ballygallum, County Down, Ireland, and Miss Mary O’Fee, eldest daughter of Mr Charles O’Fee, of Crown Terrace. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Horace Packe, M.A. The bridesmaids were Misses Jane, Annie, and Lizzie (sisters of the bride), and Miss Annie Patton (cousin of the bride). Mr John A. Thomson, cousin of the bridegroom, acted in the capacity of best man, The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a white ivory silk nicely trimmed with niched ribbon and silk laco, andjtho customary veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids wore white velvet dresses trimmed with white silk and rosettes. The bride’s travelling costume was of navy blue poplin trimmed with white cloth and silk braid, and a white picture hat trimmed with white chiffon and knots of light blue velvet. A sumptuous wedding breakfast was partaken of by over 100 friends. The toast of the bride and bridegroom was proposed in a happy speech by the Rev. Mr Packe, and responded to by the bridegroom. A most enjoyable dance was held in the barn, which was nicely decorated. The young couple were the recipients of many costly and useful presents, including a number of cheques.
