Weekly Market Reports. Messrs A. Moritzson it Co., auctioneers, wool, stock and station, grain, produce, and commission agents, corner Bond and Jetty streets, Dunedin, report (wholesale) ns follows for the week. All quotations subject to market fluctuations. Farmers are asked, when sending samdles, always to put k price on them, as buyers do not feel inclined to make offers.

Wheat.—Prime milling 4s 9d to 4/10, fowl wheat 4s 4d to 4s sd.

Oats.—Milling 3s Id, B Grade 3s, inferior 2s Sd to 2s !)d.

Barley.—Good malting inquired for, from 4s Gd to ss, pearling 4s 3d, feed barley 4s. l!yeeorn,3s 9dto 4s 3d. Maize, 4s 3d to 4s 6d. Prussian blue peas.—From Gs to Cs Gd per ushel.

Partridge peas, 4s Gd to 5s Gd. Chaff. Prime bright heavy L 5 15s, medium £5 10s, inferior to £5, wheaten straw 455, oaten straw GOs.

Clover Hay.—£4 15s to £G prime. Ryegrass.—Market remains firm. Farmers’ dressed 4s Gd to 4s 9d, none offering, machine dressed 5s Gd to 6s.

Cocksfoot.—Market remains strong. Farmers’ lots machined Gld to 7d. Linseed.—Ll2 10s to Ll3, Chewings Fescue.—There is a good demand. Farmers’ samples 5d to 5 id, and machined seed Cid to 7d. Potatoes.— Prime L3to L 3 ss, Onions—Melbourne Brown Spanish, Gs. Carrots 50s.

Sheepskins.—Prices are a farthing easier for coarse woolskins. We quote— Halfbred Dd to GJd, crossbred BAd to BJJ, merino GJ,dto Sd, lambs 84d to Old, pelts Gd to 71d.

Hides.—We hold our sales every fortnight. Our last sale was on the 22nd August. Tallow (in tins) 16s to 225, prime white mutton (in tins) 20s to 255, do. in casks 20s to 255, mixed tallow IGs to 20s.

Storing Grain.—We are prepared to store, receive, deliver, and insure with three months’ free storage at 3d per sack. Grass-seed cleaning. We advise farmers to consign all their seedo t us, as the cleaning will be attended to with up-to-date machinery, and the cleaned seed sold or returned free of railage.

We supply new and second-hand sacks, also stack, cow covers, and all other farmers’ material. Farm Produce and Fruit.
