MEASLES, INFLUENZA, AND SCARLET FEVER.

Scarlet fever is still prevalent in Wellington. Three hundred and twenty eight cases have been reported in the city. Seven cases were fatal.

The school has had to be closed in Woodville owing to an epidemic of measles.

The mild influenza epidemic, which has attacked some thousands in the city of Nelson and district is now abating. Among the victims was Mrs Talbot, of Richmond, wife of an exmayor, who celebrated her golden wedding early in the month.
